Clear Minds Brave Hearts Counseling, LLC

I founded Clear Minds Brave Hearts Counseling, LLC with the intent to help individuals find more purpose, ease, and alignment in their lives. The name was inspired by the mantra from the football coach in Friday Night Lights: “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose." Having a focused mind and courageous spirit will lead you toward your path of success and allow you to be unstoppable in various aspects of your life, particularly in times of tribulation, uncertainty and pain.

About Clear Minds Brave Hearts Counseling

A path forward.

I have a specialty in working with current and former student-athletes, particularly athletes who struggle with anxiety, perfectionist tendencies and disordered eating and body image concerns. As a former high school and collegiate student-athlete and current high school sports coach, I have firsthand experience with the challenges of balancing various academic and athletic responsibilities while also trying to navigate the pressures and expectations of being a high performer. In my professional work, I help current and former student-athletes break down feelings of shame, perfectionism and self-doubt and view themselves through a holistic and empowered lens.

As a professional counselor with experience supporting children and families in both outpatient and school settings, I also understand how stress, perfectionism, and emotional overload can affect not just you — but your whole family system. If you’re an overwhelmed and self-critical parent, together we’ll create space to slow down, untangle unhelpful patterns, and build more self-compassion, clarity, and connection — at home, with your family and within yourself.

Athlete or not, you are worth investing in your mental health and wellness.
